Pohoda takes place on the former military airport outside Trenčín. The festival is the main event, but the city gives the trip a physical anchor and Bratislava can turn arrival or departure into something more than an airport transfer.

Camping is the natural festival-first choice. Staying in Trenčín gives you walls, a shower and a morning city, but it also makes transport to and from the airport part of each day. Book only after checking the final shuttle plan.
Arrive Wednesday and spend the pre-festival evening below Trenčín Castle. Bratislava works as a one-night beginning or end, but do not commute from it daily. The distance looks manageable; the festival schedule makes it ridiculous.
An airport site means exposure. Heat, rain and wind are not side notes. Bring the equipment for the forecast you have, then allow for the forecast to be wrong.
