About InstantTraveling
An independent travel publication for adults who prefer a useful judgement to another automatic list of approved places.
InstantTraveling exists to make a travel decision clearer: which city, which area, which route and what changes once the polished version stops being useful. New pages are published when there is something specific to add, not to fill a calendar.
Many of the current guides begin with places and journeys experienced directly. That experience is checked against current practical information, local context and the details that can change a trip: transport, neighbourhood rhythm, opening patterns and route logic.
Unpolished does not mean unsafe, cheap for the sake of cheapness or deliberately obscure. It means leaving the trade-offs visible. A destination can be excellent and still be wrong for a particular weekend.
Editorial choices are made before booking tools are added. Some planning links may earn a commission at no extra cost to the traveller, but partners do not choose the places, routes or opinions covered.
InstantTraveling is created and edited in Belgium by Jan Van Eynde as part of Vayluna. It combines first-hand travel, editorial judgement and practical digital tools without pretending that every trip needs to become a performance.
