Give the island at least one day outside the festival. A car helps with Saaremaa, but ferry reservations and vehicle queues add their own timing. Tallinn works as the urban beginning or end; it is not a sensible daily base.
Island capacity is finite. Ferry places, rooms and rental cars can tighten together, while July daylight makes a 04:00 finish feel deceptively early. Confirm the official 2027 ticket, shuttle and camping arrangements rather than borrowing them from a previous edition.
