Central Ostrava works, but the tram route to Dolní Vítkovice matters more than a view of the main square. Stay where the late return remains simple. The festival site is large enough that “near the entrance” and “near the stage you use” are different claims.
Come one day early for the industrial complex without stage barriers and one ordinary Ostrava night. Leave time for the Black Triangle road route if you have a car; this is one festival where the wider post-industrial region genuinely continues the theme.
Four days on a hard industrial site punish bad footwear. The visual scale also tricks people into overplanning: crossing the grounds, queues and overlapping sets consume more time than the programme grid suggests.
